Korea Travel Zine is a digital and print project by interdisciplinary designer Giovanna Crise. Born from a journey to South Korea, it explores the theme of perception in motion, inspired by the feeling of looking at the world from a train
window.
The zine is divided into five chapters — architecture, markets, streets, people, and sea — combining photography, graphic design, and motion. The project unfolds on two levels: a printed publication enriched with acetate inserts and references to Korea’s layered urban visuals, and an interactive digital version designed as an immersive web experience. The interface features animated elements and custom instagram filters, allowing users to recompose the journey in their own way. With Korea Travel Zine, Giovanna turns a personal experience into a shared narrative—bridging mediums and languages to capture the wonder of travel through motion.
